What is FediPass?
FediPass links a subscription to your Fediverse account and uses your provider-related activity to distribute your contribution to participating content and service providers.
What FediPass reads
FediPass asks for read-only access to selected account information: account details, follows, posts, and likes. It does not ask for posting, following, moderation, or admin permissions.
What FediPass does not know
FediPass does not know your billing address or your real identity. Billing information belongs to FediPay. FediPass works with your Fediverse account name and usage data.
Can I change permissions later?
Mastodon-style OAuth approval usually grants or denies the requested permissions as one package. Later FediPass will show your granted permissions in settings and offer reconnect options with different permission levels where the server supports that.
What if my Fediverse account is unavailable?
FediPass will provide recovery access so you can still view data, change settings, connect a new Fediverse account, or delete your account. The planned recovery flow uses verified recovery email addresses and a recovery password or recovery link.
